2000

Transformation into the Aluminum program – Top quality radiators for new standards

2002

The exceptional performance led to a significant transformation in the MLM company which divided its operations into a new program – called Aluminum.

The innovative technology used in the development of the aluminum radiator set new standards in the market of heating systems. In contrast to the competition, which produced radiators with steel pipes, AKLIMAT was the first and only manufacturer of radiators with aluminum pipes which proved to be highly efficient and reliable.

This technological breakthrough brought superior efficiency and reliability to AKLIMAT products. The results of this innovation were remarkable. The company became the leading manufacturer of aluminum radiators in Slovenia and gained recognition and reputation on the international market. AKLIMAT products were distinguished by their high quality, energy efficiency and durability, which attracted many customers who were looking for top-quality radiators for their heating systems.

2002

Construction of modern facilities and industrial shop

2007

The decision to make a significant investment in the construction of modern office buildings and an industrial shop. This key investment created optimal conditions for efficient business management and improved customer service.

2007

New design, innovation, and recognizability – AKLIMAT M aluminum radiator

2008

In 2008, the newest achievement – the tubular aluminum radiator AKLIMAT M – was proudly presented. This exceptional radiator was technologically similar to its predecessor, AKLIMAT MS, but innovative changes were made to its shape, which provided it with even greater functionality and recognizability.

One of the key innovations was the new design of the radiator, which included a transition to a flat part of the front profile. This sophisticated design made it easier to clean the inside of the radiator and allowed for better ventilation between the radiator elements. The unique design solution attracted a lot of attention and enthusiasm.

In addition to its exceptional functionality, the AKLIMAT M radiator was also extremely light, which contributed to easy installation. Industrial designer Marjan Žitnik was awarded for his exceptional creativity and contribution to the development of this radiator. This recognition brought the company additional attention and confirmation that we were on the right path to constant progress and the creation of top-quality products.

2008

Construction of a warehouse for finished and semi-finished products

2010

In 2010, the AKLIMAT company made a significant investment in the construction of a modern warehouse which made it possible to optimize the storage process of finished and semi-finished products. The new warehouse brought many advantages, including increased capacity, efficiency in product handling, and improved traceability and organization.

2010

AKLIMAT became an independent legal entity under the umbrella of the parent company – MLM

2012

In 2012, the AKLIMAT company became an independent legal entity, while remaining connected to the parent company – MLM. This step marked a new milestone in the company's development, as greater autonomy was gained in business decisions and management.

2012

Innovation that changed the rules of the game: AKLIMAT T – Radiator that brought greater freedom in installation

2013

Upgrade of the AKLIMAT M radiator to the AKLIMAT T, which is characterized by a smaller depth and measures only 60 mm. This upgrade allowed greater flexibility of installation in different rooms.

All models of radiators also included the BIMETRAL innovation which enables the insertion of steel tubes in radiators, which ensures the protection of aluminum against possible high pH values of the water.

2013

Modern design and flawless functionality: New generation of CUBO M and CUBO T aluminum radiators

2016

The certificates were a recognition of AKLIMAT's management system which follows high standards in the field of research, development, production and sale of radiators. This further strengthened the trust of customers and partners in the commitment to quality.

2018

Innovation that brings confidence: Certificate of corrosion resistance and applicability in district heating

2019

In 2019, the University of Belgrade issued a certificate confirming that AKLIMAT's heating elements, made of EN AW 6060 T66 aluminum alloy with different copper contents, provide high corrosion resistance in the pH range from 5 to 9. This means that AKLIMAT radiators are suitable for use in district heating systems, considering the prescribed water quality and other parameters in the distribution system.

At pH values higher than 9, correction of the pH value of the circulating fluid is necessary. Additional protection of the internal circulatory channel of the heating element-radiator with "BIMETAL" ensures high corrosion stability even in central heating systems in the pH range from 5 to 11. This achievement strengthened the confidence of customers in the quality and reliability of AKLIMAT products.

Innovation for flawless operation: Update of TG valve and thermostatic head

2021

Implementation of the update of the TG valve and the thermostatic head which brought significant improvements in the operation of the radiator. The new version of the TG valve was designed in such a way as to prevent the occurrence of the "hammer" effect in the operation of the thermostatic head. With the new version of the TG valve, AKLIMAT managed to eliminate this unwanted phenomenon, which significantly improved the operation and reliability of the radiator..

[The "Hammer" effect, also known as hydraulic shock, is a phenomenon that can occur when a valve closes quickly and causes strong pressures and vibrations in the system. This effect can be harmful to the operation of the thermostatic head and the entire heating system.]

2021

Flexibility and compatibility for ease of use: New inserts for TG valves

2022

In 2022, innovative inserts for TG valves, which are compatible with thermostatic heads from other well-known manufacturers, such as Danfoss and Herz, were presented. This update gives customers more flexibility in choosing thermostatic heads, as they can also use third-party heads in combination with our TG valves. This facilitates the use and maintenance of AKLIMAT radiators and allows customers a wide selection of recognized components.
